Privacy Policy

Pia Industries LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Big Stretch mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built Big Stretch with a privacy-first architecture: your pet data stays on your device, there are no user accounts, and we never sell data to anyone.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide (Stored On-Device Only)
When you use Big Stretch, you may enter the following information about your pet:
- Pet name, breed, and birth date
- Pet photo (selected from your photo library)
- Activity logs: potty breaks, training sessions, feeding times, crate sessions, and socialization events
- App preferences and settings
All of this data is stored locally on your device using MMKV (a high-performance key-value storage framework). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. We do not operate a backend server, and we do not offer cloud sync.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
We use a small number of third-party services that automatically collect limited, non-identifying data to help us improve the App:

2. Information We Do Not Collect
To be explicit about what Big Stretch does not do:
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any human personal information
- We do not require account creation or authentication of any kind
- We do not track your location (GPS, IP-based, or otherwise)
- We do not access your camera — pet photos are selected from your photo library only
- We do not access your microphone
- We do not access your contacts, calendar, or other device data
- We do not use advertising SDKs or serve ads
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers
3. How We Use Information
The limited data we do receive through third-party services is used solely to:
- Improve the App: Anonymous analytics help us understand which features are used most so we can prioritize development
- Fix bugs: Crash reports help us identify and resolve technical issues quickly
- Process subscriptions: RevenueCat validates your Apple purchase receipts so we can unlock premium features
- Deliver updates: Expo checks whether a newer version of the App is available for your device
4. Third-Party Services
Each third-party service we use has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:

- Apple: apple.com/legal/privacy (governs App Store purchases and receipt data)
We do not share your data with any third parties beyond those listed above, and only for the purposes described in this policy.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your pet data and activity logs are stored exclusively on your device using MMKV encrypted storage. Because we do not operate a backend database or cloud service, there is no server-side copy of your data.
Push notifications (potty reminders, streak reminders) are generated and scheduled locally on your device. We do not use remote push notification services, and no notification data is sent to our servers.
Important: If you delete the App, all locally stored data (pet profiles, activity logs, preferences) will be permanently deleted. There is no way to recover this data because no backup exists on our servers.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Data deletion: Delete the App to remove all locally stored data. No server-side deletion request is needed because we do not store your data remotely.
- Analytics opt-out: You may limit analytics collection through your device's privacy settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics on iOS).
- Subscription management: Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings at any time.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively. Because Big Stretch does not collect personal information that identifies you as an individual, most data-subject rights (access, correction, portability) do not apply in a meaningful way. If you believe we hold data about you and wish to exercise a right, please contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
Big Stretch is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App tracks pet information only and does not require any human personal data to function. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice within the App or on our website. Your continued use of Big Stretch after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
